Scott and I have been thinking about a change in vehicle for a little while now, with gas prices the way they are and Scott driving to work 6 days a week now, plus the fact that Carter is a PAIN to get in and out of his two-door 4Runner....well here's the latest...
I still have my 4Runner, I'm not willing to down-size or sacrifice the 'extras' my car has yet. And Scott had an older 4Runner that only had two doors. However, about a year ago Scott had to give up his dream car...this is what Scott went from...

These pictures make me laugh because it's one of the many things you end up sacrificing for in the end for your family. He went from having his dream car (a fine looking vehicle I might add) to your plain old 4-door sedan. Ultimately, this was the best move for us because the car was so cheap AND it gets great gas mileage (like 36 around town!) so every month we should see a bigger increase in our discretionary income.

Christie....you are a blogging wiz!!! Seriously I can't even try to keep up with you and how fast you post things! But I am so glad that you do--because we get to keep up with whats going on back home!!
gas prices sucks rocks right now! it cost me over $55 to fill up the minivan the other day!! AHHHH
The things you give up to be a parent. Scott is such a good Dad.
Hunter can get in and out of his bed really easily. Its not as short as a toddler bed, but its also not as tall as a normal bed since it's actually a children's bed. You guys can come and see it if you want. We need to get together anyways! I want to come to the Mommy and Me class that you take Carter to. What days do you go?
